In November, Fairmont Beijing will partake in Fairmont’s global tea party with Gong Fu traditional tea performances and more. A traditional Gong Fu tea experience will be presented to guests in the Lobby Lounge with a long mouth kettle performer delighting guests with an unforgettable performance of grace and accuracy, pouring hot tea into tiny cups from a 2 meter spout. House made Chinese tea cocktails, infused with local Jasmine and Chamomile leafs, and live Chinese music performances, will also be top draws for visitors and guests alike.
Fairmont Peace Hotel, Shanghai
Fairmont Peace Hotel is brewing up a month full of tea celebrations including themed overnight packages, etiquette events, and various restaurant and bar tea offerings. For example, a selection of tea inspired cakes and pastries, such as tea infused grand cru chocolates and pralines, Chinese iced teas and tea infused menu times will be on offer in Cathay Room. On November 12 at Dragon Phoenix, the hotel’s master chef will serve up a series of tea-infused specialties including Slow Cooked Duck Breast infused with Kong Fu Tea. Guests can also expect to par“tea” in The Jazz Bar and Cin Cin with a range of exclusive tea cocktails during the month.

Throughout the month of November, Fairmont Yangcheng Lake will celebrate Tea Month with Bi Lou Chun green tea from its very own on-site plantation. Chilled green tea cocktails infused with the resort's organic honey will be served in the lobby bar luwei, while Pastry Chef Hogan will tempt guests in Essence with his version of home made green tea ice cream. On weekends, guests will have the opportunity to tour the resort's organic tea plantation and enjoy a cup of complimentary Bi Lou Chun.
